We are a group of volunteers committed to supporting sustainable development in India. We support rural community- based projects in areas like literacy, primary health, employment generation, alternative energy, women's self help groups, environment and natural resources conservation.

Join us as a volunteer

Our chapter welcomes new volunteers! You can participate in our regular fun activities - reviewing and visiting projects, fundraising, publicity, website maintenance. We meet regularly for work and discussion. To join us, just follow these steps.

Want to contribute but cannot volunteer regularly. Here are some suggestions
  • Join our 'Friends' mailing list. We will send you occasional updates and newsletters about our chapter's activities. Send email to aidAtlantaFriends-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
  • You can contribute in many ways:
    • Ideas and expertise on our projects, especially if you have worked in development, public health or environmental areas.
    • Help us organize awareness events.
    • Donate money, educational material and books for our projects.
