The Association for India's Development (A.I.D.) and the Satyam Atlanta Cricket Club (S.A.C.C.) organized the fourth annual "Cricket for India" tournament on September 24th Saturday & October 1st Saturday. Thanks a lot for participating in this tournament and making it a big success like in past years. The proceeds of this fundraiser will be able to support two projects in a year and will impact many a villages in India. It will go a long way in improving the lives of many!

We are grateful to the members of all 30 teams for their utmost cooperation. The event proceeded very smoothly and finished on time. We look forward to your participation and support in the future. Please mail us any comments / suggestions you might have so that we can accomodate those in the next years to come.

The tournament was won by the "Blue Panthers", who reached the target of 56 in the last ball of their innings. "Driving without license" (who should also be applauded for their creative name) was the runner-up team. The winners in the different categories are:

  • Saurabh Verma (Driving without license) - Man of the Tournament
  • Krishna Dharmaraju (Blue Panthers) - Man of the Finals
  • Saurabh Verma (Driving without license) - Best Batsman
  • Krishna Dharmaraju (Blue Panthers) - Best Bowler
  • Dhronal Shah (Driving without license) - Best Fielder
  • Nimir Desai (GT Playboys) - Best Long Hitter
  • Moiz Dhamani (Driving Under Influence) - Promising Youngster
